Curator’s tour of Angelika Kollin’s exhibition Tender Ground
You are warmly invited to an English-speaking curator’s tour on Sunday, November 2, at 3.30 pm, where the curators Toomas Järvet and Kristel Aimee Laur will introduce Angelika Kollin’s poetic and deeply human exhibition Tender Ground.
Kollin’s photographs explore intimate and universal themes—closeness, vulnerability, and the hidden layers of life. Yet her work is not only gentle and sensitive; it is also empowering and supportive. It invites us to see beauty where fragility prevails and helps to find words for moments that are often difficult to express.
During the tour, the curators will speak about how the artist’s personal journey and life experiences have shaped this extraordinary visual and emotional body of work. You’ll hear about the thoughts and discussions that accompanied the exhibition’s creation, and how it resonates with our own stories and sensitivities.
Admission: with an exhibition ticket.
Free entry for Documentary Photo Centre Club members and Museum Card holders when presenting their card upon arrival.
