Are you interested in Japanese calligraphy or Sumi-e?
Hikari will share the basics of Japanese calligraphy and some inspirational ideas for Sumi-e style drawing. You can explore these topics while the workshop,

• How to use tools and materials
• Basic stroke order rules
• Practice basic Japanese calligraphy brush strokes
• Try to write your name and some words in Japanese
  with different letters ; Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji
• Try to draw on different papers with different brushes, sumi black ink and water
• Try different sumi-e technique and ideas

Let's have meditative and creative time together!
