AFEKT 25 CHAMBER GALA pays tribute to the 80th birthday of Georges Aperghis, featuring Marco Blaauw performing the extensive chamber work ‘Trompe-oreille’ for trumpet and electronics, which was written for him. The concert will feature the world premiere of Anna-Margret Noorhani’s new work “no alternative“. The program also includes Jesper Nordin’s ‘Calm like a bomb’, the piece that brought him his international breakthrough, and Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes’s work ‘Valgused’ (‘Lights’) for five vocal soloists.
