Culture Creative Lab – from idea to your own product!

Culture Creative Lab – from idea to your own product!

Are you a young person in Tallinn aged 11–15? Come create, experiment and make new friends!

The Culture Creative Lab brings together young people from different language and cultural backgrounds at Vivita. We’ll share stories, discover each other’s traditions and experiences, and use them as inspiration for creating new products.

Together with your team, you’ll go from your first idea to a prototype and a finished product. We’ll experiment with materials and techniques, learn design thinking, and get ready to present and sell what we’ve made at a Christmas market.

No previous design or product development experience needed – all you need is curiosity and a willingness to join in!

Two workshop days:

Saturday, 7 November 2026, 10:00–15:00 – Design thinking
We’ll get to know each other, share cultural stories, come up with ideas in teams and make our first prototypes.

Saturday, 21 November 2026, 10:00–15:00 – Product development
We’ll test and develop our ideas, choose suitable materials, and make and finish our products.

During the workshop days, we’ll also meet inspiring speakers from different cultural backgrounds.

Nine creative sessions
Alongside the workshop days, you can keep working with your team in open creative studio sessions. Two mentors will be there to support you, and you’ll have access to Vivita’s tools and materials.

Creative sessions run from 14:00 to 17:30.
November: 17.11 · 19.11 · 24.11
December: 2.12 · 3.12 · 7.12 · 10.12 · 17.12 · 18.12

Christmas market on 19 December
We’ll wrap up the programme with a Christmas market, where you can present and sell the products your team has made.
