On November 1st, as part of the AFEKT Festival, an orchestra composed of household appliances and furniture will perform at the Cabaret Voltá factory-club—a bunch of items relegated to trash status, attempting to extend their lifespan by a few more days through making music. All of this is accompanied by a peculiarly cozy lighting design. The conductor of the orchestra, who also acts as the service staff and transport worker, is artist and musician Lauri Lest.
