Connection brings together fractions of Polish, Estonian and Finnish perspectives on contemporary music, creating a space for dialogue between distinct artistic sensibilities. The programme features three world premieres written especially for the occasion: Seam by Barbara Zach and Bartosz Mularski, and Discontinuity Anxiety by Piotr Peszat, commissioned by Spółdzielnia Muzyczna, alongside Dancing About the Architecture by Ardo Ran Varres, commissioned by the festival. These new works meet compositions by Tõnu Kõrvits and Jarkko Hartikainen, tracing diverse approaches to sound, form and musical expression. Presented in Tartu and Tallinn as part of AFEKT 2026, the concerts mark another meeting between Spółdzielnia Muzyczna and the AFEKT Festival, fostering an exchange between artistic communities and celebrating the ongoing evolution of contemporary music.
